JEE Advanced 2026 Registration Date
The JEE Advanced 2026 application form will be released by IIT Roorkee on April 23, 2026, at 10 AM for Indian nationals. Registration for foreign nationals (OCI/PIO) will begin on April 6, 2026.
The last date of registration for both Indian and foreign nationals is May 2, 2026. The last date for the application fee payment is May 4, 2026.

JEE Advanced 2026 Registration Process
The JEE Advanced registration involves application form filing, uploading of required documents and payment of the application fee. Candidates also have to choose eight exam cities according to their preference.
The final exam centre will be listed on the JEE Advanced 2026 admit card. The application process includes logging in using the JEE Main application number, entering required details, uploading scanned documents, paying the application fee online and printing the registration confirmation.
Once the application is submitted, the form cannot be edited or corrected.
JEE Advanced 2026 Registration Fees
JEE Advanced registration fees are INR 1600 for female (all categories), SC, ST and PwD candidates. For all the other candidates, the JEE Advanced application fee is INR 3200.
The candidates have to pay the fees on the MOPS page. Payment can be made through Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/UPI.
Foreign Nationals must use International Debit/Credit Cards issued by Foreign Banks.

JEE Advanced 2026 Exam Pattern
The JEE Advanced exam will be conducted in two shifts. Paper 1 will be held from 9 AM to 12 PM and Paper 2 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

JEE Advanced 2026 Registration Fees for Exam Centres Outside India
The fee structure is different for candidates who choose an exam centre outside India. The following fees apply for such candidates.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for JEE Advanced 2026, a candidate must be among the top 2.5 lakh students who qualify the JEE Main 2026 exam. A candidate cannot attempt JEE Advanced more than two times in two years.
Candidates must be born on or after October 1, 2001. For reserved categories, there is a five-year relaxation, so they must be born on or after October 1, 1996.
Candidates who were admitted to any IIT through JoSAA 2024 and whose admission was later cancelled by the IIT after joining are not eligible to register for JEE Advanced 2026.

Category-Wise Reservation in JEE Advanced 2026
The Government of India offers a reservation policy to various categories to ensure equal opportunities. JEE Advanced 2026 follows these policies and offers reserved seats to SC, ST, OBC, EWS and PwD category candidates.
Foreign Nationals are not eligible to avail the reservation benefits. GEN-EWS and OBC-NCL category candidates must have their category certificates issued on or after April 1, 2026.
A 5% horizontal reservation is applicable for PwD candidates across all categories. One seat is reserved in every institute for PwD candidates with Dyslexia.

JEE Advanced 2026 Eligibility for Foreign Nationals
Foreign national students are not required to appear for the JEE Main 2026 in order to apply for the JEE Advanced 2026 exam. Foreign national students are not included in the 2.5 lakh students qualifying for JEE Advanced through JEE Main.
Foreign Nationals Eligibility for JEE Advanced 2026
Foreign nationals can appear for JEE Advanced 2026 without taking JEE Main 2026. They must register directly for JEE Advanced 2026.
If a foreign national qualifies, the seats allotted are supernumerary. These extra seats are limited to 10% of the total number of seats in every course.
Foreign nationals are not eligible for reserved seats under the EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST and PwD categories. They are also not eligible for JoSAA counselling.
