The General category cutoff jumped significantly in 2025 to 145, compared to 127 in 2024 and 127.5 in 2023. This suggests higher competition or an easier paper in 2025. SC and ST cutoffs have stayed stable, around 60 to 80 marks across all four years.
A score above 150 out of 240 generally gives a strong chance at top institutions in the General category, based on past trends. Paper difficulty has a major impact on the cutoff. A tougher paper lowers the cutoff, while an easier paper raises it.
