THDC Institute of Hydropower Engineering and Technology is a constituent institute of Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University. THDC-IHET was established in 2011 and is located in Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. The institute is approved by All India Council of Technical Education(AICTE) and is a joint initiative of THDC Ltd. and state government of Uttarakhand.

The college has its training and placement cell looking into the placement for its students. The aim of training and placement cell of the institute is to help students identify their career goals and prepare them for the present day competitive job market. Apart from University’s Curriculum, Value Added Courses are also offered to the students for making them industry ready. Co-curricular and extracurricular activities are also planned throughout the year for holistic development of the students. We are trying to develop tech leaders with high value system and concern for environment and society. For us engineering is an eco friendly dealing and a service to nation as we are providing engineering education within beauty and constraints of nature.

Over the past year, our T&P Cell has worked tirelessly to establish partnerships with top companies in a variety of industries. As a result, we have seen an increase in the number of job and internship opportunities available to our students. In addition to these partnerships, our T&P Cell has also implemented a number of successful initiatives to prepare our students for the job market. These include resume workshops, mock interviews, and networking events.

The hard work and dedication of our T&P Cell and our students have paid off, as we have seen a significant increase in the number of our graduates being placed in jobs and internships. In fact, many of our students have received multiple job offers and have had the opportunity to choose the position that best fits their career goals. Our recent placement achievement is especially noteworthy when compared to our past achievements. In the past, we have seen a steady number of our graduates being placed in various companies and organizations. However, this year we have seen a significant increase in the number of job and internship offers received by our students. Many of our graduates have received multiple offers and have had the opportunity to choose the position that best fits their career goals. We are extremely proud of this accomplishment and believe it is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students and the support and guidance provided by our career services team.
