Fees
Fees at the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) for the Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] in Information Technology program range between INR 8 to 12 lakhs for the entire four-year course, depending on various factors such as category and additional charges. Tuition fees for general, OBC, and EWS students are approximately INR 1.2 to 2 lakhs per year, while tuition is waived for SC/ST category students, bringing their costs to around INR 3- 4 lakhs overall, which primarily cover hostel and mess charges.
Hostel fees typically amount to INR 13,000- 20,000 per semester, and mess fees are about INR 24,000- 25,000 per semester. Additional fees, such as for labs, exams, and registration, are applicable each semester. A tuition fee hike of about 5- 10% is expected annually. A variety of scholarships, including government schemes such as the National Scholarship Portal (NSP), are available.
