<p>IIIT Allahabad offers scholarships run and governed by the Centre and State governments. The schemes available are Merit-cum-Means Scholarship (MCM), Central Sector Scholarship for SC/ST, Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme (PMSS), UP State Scholarship, Institute Assistantship, and NSP Scholarships.</p>

<li><strong>Merit-cum-Means Scholarship (MCM):</strong> For B.Tech / M.Tech students with a strong academic record and low annual family income (typically less than INR 4–6 lakh). Benefit: Tuition fee waiver plus a stipend of INR 1,000–INR 2,000 per month.</li>
<li><strong>Central Sector Scholarship for SC/ST:</strong> For SC/ST students enrolled in UG/PG programs. Benefit: Full or partial tuition reimbursement (up to INR 2–2.5 lakh/year) plus pocket allowance in some cases.</li>
<li><strong>Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme (PMSS):</strong> For wards of Ex-servicemen / Police personnel. Benefit: INR 3,000 per month for girls and INR 2,500 per month for boys.</li>
<li><strong>UP State Scholarship:</strong> For students who are residents of Uttar Pradesh and meet income norms. Benefit: Full fee reimbursement (up to INR 2 lakh/year) plus a maintenance allowance of INR 6,600–INR 12,000/year.</li>
<li><strong>Institute Assistantship (M.Tech / Ph.D.):</strong> For GATE-qualified students admitted to PG/Doctoral programs. Benefit: M.Tech students get INR 12,400 per month (as per MHRD norms); Ph.D students get INR 31,000–INR 35,000 per month plus HRA (if applicable).</li>
<li><strong>NSP Scholarships (Minority / EWS / OBC):</strong> For students belonging to the notified categories under the National Scholarship Portal. Benefit: INR 10,000–INR 30,000 per year plus ad-hoc grants.</li>
