IIIT Allahabad provides separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished accommodation and dining services. The campus is on 100 acres of land in Devghat, Jhalwa, on the outskirts of Allahabad.

Hostel rooms are double occupancy. The room charges include maintenance, water, electricity, cooler usage, and basic amenities.

For boys, the hostel fee is INR 11,880 per semester. For girls, the fee is INR 11,880 to INR 13,080 per semester. The girls' hostels are fewer in number but are comparatively newer and well-maintained. They have higher security with 24/7 guards, CCTV, and stricter entry protocols. The girls' hostel is also located closer to the administration offices.

• Maintenance charges (10% of room): INR 880 for the 1st and 2nd semesters, INR 970 for the 3rd and 4th semesters
• Mess establishment charges (5% of room): INR 440 for the 1st and 2nd semesters, INR 490 for the 3rd and 4th semesters
• Water charges (10% of room): INR 880 for the 1st and 2nd semesters, INR 970 for the 3rd and 4th semesters
• Hostel electricity charges: INR 1,340 for the 1st and 2nd semesters, INR 1,480 for the 3rd and 4th semesters
• Cooler usage charges: INR 750 for the 1st and 2nd semesters, INR 830 for the 3rd and 4th semesters
• Subtotal: INR 11,880 for each semester
• Mess charges: INR 25,560 for each semester

Students must pay INR 35,160 for hostel facilities. The mess food is described as average in student reviews.
