<h3>Bureau of Indian Standards Chair</h3>
<p>The Bureau of Indian Standards Chair was established in 2024 with an endowment from the Bureau of Indian Standards. It recognises high-performing Professors or Associate Professors (one position).</p>

<h3>Sameer Bhat Chair</h3>
<p>The Sameer Bhat Chair was established in 2021 with an endowment from Mr. Sameer Bhat, Co-founder of eClinicalWorks, Boston, USA. It supports a Chair Professorship at the Associate Professor level.</p>
<p>Faculty from any department working in the broad area of Digital Health are eligible for this position.</p>

<h3>HAL Chair</h3>
<p>The HAL Chair was endowed by M/s Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Bangalore as a full-time resident chair professorship. It promotes research, development, and academic work in new and emerging aerospace technologies.</p>
<p>This chair is awarded to a distinguished academician of the rank of Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering. The work includes research in aerospace technologies, technical consultancy, training programs, and other mutually agreed activities relevant to the aerospace industry.</p>

<h3>Isaac Endowed Chair</h3>
<p>The Isaac Endowed Chair and Endowed Chair Professor was established in 2024 under the Medical Sciences division. It aims to recruit and retain the best faculty members in the medical school.</p>
<p>The Chair position is for a period of 5 years from the date of award.</p>
