<p>IISc Bangalore has released the admission schedule for the 2026 academic year. Key dates include the B.Sc. Research application window from May 1 to June 4, 2026, and reporting at IISc on July 24, 2026. For regular PG programmes, reporting is tentatively scheduled for July 20-22, 2026. Classes commence on August 3, 2026.</p>

<p>For research programmes, the interview and written test dates are set. The schedule is as follows:</p>
<ul>
<li>Research interdisciplinary: May 8-9, 2026</li>
<li>Research programmes / ERP: May 11-15, 2026</li>
<li>MSc / Integrated PhD: May 18-20, 2026</li>
<li>Sponsored candidates (ISRO, NAL, BARC, etc.): June 2-3, 2026</li>
<li>Sponsored candidates (Defence & DRDO): June 4, 2026</li>
</ul>

<p>Reporting for PhD, M.Tech Research, and ERP programmes is tentatively scheduled for July 23-24, 2026.</p>

<p>For B.Tech and B.Sc. admissions, the JEE Advanced 2026 exam is on May 17, 2026. The result was declared on June 1, 2026. JoSAA counselling begins with registration and choice filling from June 2 to June 11, 2026. The seat allotment rounds are as follows:</p>
<ul>
<li>Round 1: June 13, 2026</li>
<li>Round 2: June 30, 2026</li>
<li>Round 3: July 6, 2026</li>
<li>Round 4: July 10, 2026</li>
<li>Round 5: July 16, 2026</li>
</ul>

<p>For M.Tech, M.Des, and M.Management admissions through COAP, registration begins on March 27, 2026. The seat allocation rounds are scheduled from May 11 to June 10, 2026.</p>

<p>For M.Sc admissions through JOAPS, registration is from March 27 to April 15, 2026. The merit list release dates are May 25, June 8, June 16, and June 27, 2026.</p>

<p>The GATE exam for M.Tech admission is scheduled for February 7, 8, and 14, 2026. GATE registration runs from August 28 to October 7, 2026.</p>
