Lourdes Matha Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology

Lourdes Matha Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (LMIHMCT), Thiruvananthapuram was established in 2004, is affiliated by University of Kerala and approved by AICTE. It offers BHMCT and B.Voc programs at the undergraduate level. Admission to the LMIHMCT is done on the basis of an entrance exam conducted by University of Kerala.

LMIHMCT conducts traditional classroom sessions complemented by industrial exposure and professional practice sessions in various areas of industry, in association with leading hotel/ hospitality companies. Students' learning is facilitated by teachers with substantial professional / Industrial experience. Moreover, the classes are held in an aesthetic campus, with well-equipped classrooms, supplemented by training kitchens, training restaurants, along with House Keeping, Front Office and Computer Labs.
