IPU CET 2026 Application Form Released
The IPU CET 2026 application form was released on February 2, 2026. The last date to apply is March 31, 2026.
You can apply at ipu.ac.in for admission to various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses.
- The IPU CET 2026 application fee is INR 1500 (plus taxes).
- After successful registration, you will get a unique ID and password.
- You can use this ID and password to fill in your personal, educational and other details.
- The university will conduct all CETs from the last week of April 2026 to the 2nd week of May 2026.
For admission to B.Tech and Medical courses, you need to appear for JEE Main and NEET, respectively. For admission to Architecture and Law programs, you should apply through NATA and CLAT scores.
Applicants must be 17 years old and should have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks to appear for IPU CET 2026. You must check the detailed eligibility criteria and exams accepted for your particular course from the official brochure.
While filling out the application form, you will have to upload a recent colored photograph taken on or after January 1, 2026. The photograph must have a white background and should cover 75% of the total space.

Initial Registration
The first step is initial registration. You will need to provide basic details to create your account.
After successful registration, you will receive a unique ID and password. Use these credentials to log in and complete the rest of the form.

IPU CET 2026 Application Process Overview
The IPU CET application form is filled in two stages: initial registration and final registration. The initial registration captures course details, the candidate's name, and contact information.
Candidates must enter the program they are applying for, along with the program code, email ID, and contact number. After the initial registration is complete, a login ID and password are sent to the registered mobile number and email ID.
How to Apply for IPU CET 2026
The application process involves a series of steps, starting with visiting the official website. The form is fully automated and consists of two parts: Form 1 and Form 2.
Step 1: Visit Official Portal
- Log on to the official website of IPU CET.
- Read the important instructions, check the box, and press the 'START' button.
Step 2: Fill-in Registration Form
- Fill in the 'Program group, program name, and code' along with the candidate's name and contact details.
- Provide general information to proceed to the program selection and payment section on Form 2.
Step 3: Selection of Exam Category
While filling in the general information, candidates must select one of the given exam categories.

Step 4: Declaration
For the declaration, the candidate must complete the following actions.
- Enter the captcha code.
- Check the 'I Agree' checkbox.
- Click on the 'Submit' button.
Step 5: Generate Login ID & Password
- After clicking 'Submit', a message box appears asking applicants to note down their login ID and password, which will be used for future logins and to apply for multiple courses.
- Once the applicant presses 'OK', their Login ID and Password are generated and shown along with other details.
Final Registration for IPU CET 2026
Log into the account using the Login ID and Password sent to the registered mobile number and email. The following steps complete the final registration.
Step 6: Fill the General Information
- Enter personal details such as name, date of birth, region, and correspondence address.
- Select the desired program.
- Select the IPU CET Exam Center. This option is available only for candidates applying for B.Tech, MBBS Stage 1, MCA, and MBA programs.
- Upload a photograph and signature. The image must be in JPEG/JPG or GIF format and less than 100KB in size.
- Upload the Left Hand Thumb impression. The image must be in .JPEG/.JPG or .GIF format and less than 100KB in size.
- After uploading images, click the "Close This Window" button once the message "Your images have been uploaded successfully" appears in all 3 tabs.
- After uploading images, click on the 'Next' button.
Step 7: Fill the Qualification Details
The Qualification page appears based on the selected exam category.
- For Ph.D. Program: Enter examination details such as class 10, class 12, year of passing, name of institution, name of university, and subjects. This section also includes exams qualified, their scores, and work experience.
- For Post Graduate Medical Courses (PGMC/ M.D./ M.S./ D.M./ M.Ch) / Super Specialty Medical Courses (SSMC): Fill in academic qualifications for class 10, class 12, and graduation details with proof, along with work experience details.
- After completing the academic details, click on 'Next' to be directed to the final submit page.
Step 8: Course Application Form
Applicants can go to the Course Application Tab to apply for courses. They must click on the "Apply for Courses" button.
Step 9: Course Selection Form
- On the next page, some of the applicant's information will be auto-updated.
- Select the desired course.
- If the applicant selects B.Tech, MBBS Stage 1, MCA, or MBA in the Engineering/ Professional/ Medical Programmes exam category, they will be shown IPU CET Exam Centers to choose from.
- After selecting the course, check the 'I Agree' checkbox and click on the 'Submit' command button.
- On clicking 'Submit', a message box appears to preview the details. Candidates can click 'CANCEL' to change any detail.
Step 10: Application Fee Payment
The final step in the application process is the payment of the application fee.
IPU CET 2026 Application Fee
Candidates must pay an application fee of INR 1000 for each course. This fee applies to General, OBC, SC, and ST candidates alike.
After filling in the details, click the OK button. You will be taken to the Bill Desk page for payment. Select the "Make Payment" command button to finalise the payment.

Step 11: Take a Printout
Save the filled application form for future use. The saved form is required if you do not receive your admit card.
Step 12: Apply for Multiple Courses
After applying for one course, you can view all your course details under the Course Application tab. Click on "view" to see the details of a specific course.
You can use the same ID and password to apply for more courses. Switch to the course details tab and apply for another course.

IPU CET 2026 Application Form FAQs
Can one ID be used for M.Sc (EM) and PG Diploma in Women Empowerment?
Yes. There is no need to generate a separate ID. One ID can be used for both courses.
What is the application fee for an OBC female candidate?
The application fee for any course is INR 1200. IPU does not give any fee concession to any candidate. The application fee is the same for all categories.
Is there seat reservation for south-Indian students?
No. There is no regional reservation. Students will be treated on the basis of their rank.
How to delete a second application ID and get a refund?
You must mail the details to the authorities stating the entire scenario. Only then will your other ID be deleted. The fee refund cannot be done in this case.
Is there a course fee concession for IPU BBA students applying for MBA?
No. There is no such rule given by IPU CET. Also, no discounts are given on the application fee.
Can M.Tech (Tool Engineering) and M.Tech (Nano Sc. & Technology) exams be taken on the same day?
This can only be confirmed once the exam schedule is released. The two cannot be given together, as the papers are different. The questions asked from the graduation level course are different for each of them.
Image upload is not accepted even though it is 50KB. What to do?
Log out of the portal and re-login to the system. Try to upload the image again. If the image is not re-uploaded, re-size the photograph and follow the steps defined to upload it.
When will BBA and B.Com forms be released?
The application forms have been released on February 2, 2026. They can be filled on the website ipu.ac.in.
Can a BA. LLB student from LPU enter directly in the 2nd year of LLM through IPU CET?
Yes, you have to write IPU CET. The process details about lateral entry provision can only be understood by checking the details on the official website.
Is a Masters in Psychology student eligible for M. Phil (English) through IPCET?
Yes, you are eligible for IPCET. However, the enrolment to the course depends upon fulfilling the eligibility criteria for M.Phil (English).
Ques. The system is not accepting my application form, it says that I “already registered with the portal”. What does that mean?
Ans. It means that you already have completed step 1 of the registration process or someone on your behalf has done that. For further information, contact the GGSIPU.
Ques. I want to apply for B.A., L.L.B, and B.Pharma, can it all be done with a single form?
Ans. No, a single form will not work, you have to create one registration ID and use them separately for each of the subjects.
Ques. I am physically handicapped. Can I apply for IPU CET exam?
Ans. Yes, you can apply, but the benefits of reservation are only applicable if you satisfy the eligibility criteria defined for physically handicapped students.
Ques. I want to enroll in the B.Sc. (yoga) course. Do I need to clear the English language as one of the main 5 subjects in 10+2?
Ans. Yes, the English language must be qualified in class 12 level, else your CBSE class 12 degree is not considered valid.
Ques. I have completed LLB and now I want to do LLM from IPU. Will IPU CET work for me?
Ans. No, a separate application form will work for you it will be released under the header IPU Law CET 2023. We will notify this on our website.

Ans. Yes. Now you have to provide a CAT score to take admission to IP University.

Ans. The details in the first form cannot be edited at the stage of registration if you have hit the final submit button. So, wait for the form correction window to open up and then update the details.
