The Training and Placement Cell at MCKVIE actively works towards helping the students in their Training and Placements. Our Placement Wing, the Training and Placement Cell, actively connects prospective recruiters and arrange recruitment drive in accordance with the market trend of entry level recruitment scope in the country. Students from our institute, over the past many years, have been absorbed by reputed organizations from all parts of the country. The Training and Placement Cell, administered by a team of dedicated personnel works round the year to establish contacts with the companies to create such opportunities for eligible students.

The Training and Placement Cell aims at imparting holistic training to the students to enhance their employability. These include:

1. Organizing interactive seminars and workshops with industry professionals to make them aware of the industry ethics and culture and also to get a firsthand idea about industry’s expectation during recruitment process.2. Online/Offline Comprehensive Training including Company Specific Training is organized by T & P Cell through support of ‘Finishing School Committee’. 3. Arranging Mock Interviews for students to build up their confidence.4. Technical, Aptitude, Company Specific Mock Test and Psychometric Tests in line with industry norms are organized for students. Also, Assessment for both Technical and Soft Skill is organized through assessment partners to evaluate the strength and weakness. 5. Individual and Group counselling to make them aware of their strengths and weaknesses and to take corrective actions wherever necessary.

MCKV Institute of Engineering has always pioneered changes in the education system, since it strives to achieve excellence and provide industrial exposure to its students. Since its inception in 1999, the college has worked tirelessly to develop the personalities of its young learners, and to provide them with adequate opportunities to explore in their fields of interest. Over the years, the institution’s efforts have shown remarkable outcome. Today, a large number of its students work for some of the best domestic and international organisations, both in India and abroad.

The Finishing School of MCKV Institute of Engineering understands the paradigm shift in the demand for the quality of professionals required by the industries today, and also recognises the need for engineers to keep themselves abreast with new technologies and skills. Therefore, to cope with the contemporary industrial requirements, the school provides Placement Preparatory Training to its students in the form of Aptitude and Technical Skill Development. This training programme is initiated from second year onwards, and is a part of the curriculum. Each and every student gets equal opportunity to upgrade his or her aptitude and technical expertise, as per the requirements of the industries.
