Fees
Fees at National Institute of Technology [NIT] for the Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] in Electronics & Communication Engineering program vary based on the annual family income and category. General, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and OBC students with a family income below INR 1 lakh pay INR 11,000 per semester. Those with an income between INR 1 lakh and 5 lakh pay INR 32,000 per semester, while income above INR 5 lakh incurs a fee of INR 65,000 per semester.
SC, ST, and PWD students pay a fixed fee of INR 11,000 per semester regardless of income. Further, the annual fee amounts to INR 40,000 for SC/ST students, INR 75,000 to 80,000 for OBC students, and INR 1.5 lakhs for general category students.
