Fees
Fees at Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) for the Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science include various components. The tuition fee per semester is currently 2,59,500 INR. In addition to this, students are required to pay 54,000 INR encompassing hostel and mess fees. An admission fee of 53,000 INR is also applicable upon joining. The fee structure tends to increase annually by about 6%. BITS offers scholarships like Merit and Merit Cum Need (MCN) for financial aid. For Merit scholarships, maintaining a CGPA of at least 9.5 can lead to a waiver of up to 100% in tuition fees. The MCN scholarship caters to students with family incomes below 8 lakh INR per annum, with the scholarship amount dependent on the student's CGPA. Additionally, loans are available for students through a State Bank of India branch located on campus, which offers collateral-free options to cover full or partial fees.
