<p>BITS Hyderabad offers scholarships based on merit and financial need. The main schemes are the Merit Scholarship, the Merit-cum-Need (MCN) Scholarship, the Institute Topper Award, and the Continuing Student Scholarship. External and government scholarships are also available.</p>

<p><strong>Merit Scholarship</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>The top 1–2% of students in the batch get a 100% tuition fee waiver.</li>
<li>The next 6–7% of students get a 40% tuition fee waiver.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Merit-cum-Need (MCN) Scholarship</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>You must have a family income of INR 15 LPA or less.</li>
<li>You also need a good CGPA.</li>
<li>The waiver is 25%, 40%, or 80% of tuition fees.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Institute Topper Award</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>This is for the student with the highest CGPA in a program or year.</li>
<li>The award is a cash prize or a fee waiver, and the amount varies.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Continuing Student Scholarship</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>You must maintain a minimum CGPA of 6.0 to 6.5.</li>
<li>This allows for the renewal of the Merit or MCN scholarship.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>External and Government Scholarships</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>These follow the norms of the specific scheme, such as the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).</li>
<li>The amount is variable.</li>
