OFFICE OF FINANCIAL AID AND SCHOLARSHIPS Objective: The office's mission is to recognise meritorious students in academics and co-curricular activities by means of scholarship during the course of their academic pursuits in CHRIST (Deemed to be University). The office awards scholarships for Merit and for Sports, Co-curricular and extracurricular activities.

Merit Scholarship: A student with a brilliant academic record, having secured First Class in all the previous semesters with a minimum 70% aggregate marks and a minimum of 85% attendance is eligible to apply. The scholarship per student can vary between Rs 1,000 to Rs 10,000 for the eligible students in each class.

Scholarships for excellence in sports, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities - A student with a good academic record, without any arrears and who has minimum of 85% attendance and who is actively associated with CSA/NCC/ACC/SWO/STUDENT COUNCIL or SPORTS activities of the University or represented the University in events outside the campus and the certificate supporting his/her application for the year 2022-23 is eligible to apply. This is a nominative award based on the recommendation of the concerned Student Office Coordinators in charge. The scholarship per student can vary between Rs 1,000 to Rs 10,000 for the eligible students..

The scholarship will consist of a percentage refund of fees.

Students unable to pay their fees in one installment can avail this facility by filling a prescribed application form available in the Office of Admissions. Such applications can be processed through the office of scholarships on specified dates. This facility needs to be applicable only in cases where the total fee is above Rs.10000/-. The students must pay the installments on the days prescribed by the office in one or two installments.

CHRIST (Deemed to be University) allocates a total amount of about Rs 450 Lakhs for the fee concessions and Scholarships annually. N.B: All applications are to be made only on the prescribed forms with recommendations from the respective HOD.
