Girls Hostel

Hostel facilities for girls are offered across 2 campuses, named Campus A and Campus B. Campus A consists of 5 hostels with 3-seater, 4-seater rooms and dormitories. Campus B consists of 2 hostels with 3-seater rooms, 2-seater rooms for Specially-abled Students, and dormitories.

• Campus A: Aruna Asaf Ali Hostel (65 seats), Begum Anis Kidwai Hostel (256 seats), Bi-Amma Hostel (385 seats), Bi-Amma Hostel - Annexe (21 seats), Gerda Philipsborn Hostel (173 seats).
• Campus B: Begum Hazrat Mahal Girls Hostel (422 seats), J&K Girls Hostel (700 seats).

Boys Hostel

There are two halls of Boys' residence consisting of eight hostels with 2-seater rooms, 3-seater rooms, 4-seater rooms, and dormitories.

Boys Hostel Details

• MMA Jauhar Hall: Fazalur Rahman Khan Hostel (360 seats), Dr BR Ambedkar Hostel (330 seats), Sir AM Khwaja Hostel (270 seats), Dormitory Seats (20).
• Dr Zakir Hussain Hall: Allama Iqbal Hostel (501 seats), EJ Kellat Hostel (168 seats), Shafique Rehman Kidwai Hostel (186 seats), Obaidullah Sindhi Hostel (35 seats), New Boys Hostel (300 seats), Dormitory Seats (50).

How to Apply for Hostel

Admission to the hostel is offered by the faculties and the Study Centre of the university. Eligibility is determined on the basis of the merit score obtained in the entrance examination, such as JMI, JEE Mains, and NEET. To be eligible for a hostel, candidates must have secured at least 45% marks in the qualifying exam.
