  • Diploma in Engineering or Technology in a relevant branch (Computer Engineering or CS for AI and DS and IT; Biotechnology or Chemical Engineering for Biotechnology) from a board recognised by TNSBET or equivalent, with minimum 45 percent aggregate (40 percent for BC/MBC/SC/ST).
  • Candidates holding a B.Sc degree in an appropriate branch under the 10+2+3 pattern with minimum 45 percent aggregate (40 percent for reserved categories) are also eligible, provided they did not study Mathematics at Class 12 level.
  • Diploma holders from relevant engineering branches face no Mathematics restriction and may apply for any of the three lateral entry specializations at KCET.
