Ram Lal Anand College - [RLA]

Ram Lal Anand College offers several scholarships for needy and meritorious students. Each scholarship is sponsored by individuals or families, often in memory of former faculty members.

Most scholarships are awarded to students who are both needy and meritorious. Some are specific to a particular subject or category of students.

• Dr. M C Gupta Scholarship in Commerce: Two scholarships of INR 6000 each for needy and meritorious Commerce students, from 2021-22.
• Dr. Ramesh Chandra and Ms Kanti Mishra Scholarship: Two scholarships of INR 4000 each for needy and meritorious students, from 2021-22.
• Dr. M S Verma Scholarship: One scholarship of INR 6000 for a needy and meritorious student, from 2021-22.
• Dr. R K Agarwal Scholarship: One scholarship of INR 6000 for a needy and meritorious student, from 2021-22.
• Sh. Mohan Swarup Dwivedi Memorial Scholarships: For girl students from economically weaker backgrounds studying Hindi Honours, who secure a minimum of 55% marks in first and second year. Instituted from 2022-23.
• Dr. Devender Kumar Memorial Scholarship: Two scholarships of INR 6000 each for needy and meritorious History students, from 2022-23.
• Dr. G. R. Taneja Memorial Scholarship: Seven scholarships of INR 6000 each (total INR 42000) for needy and meritorious students, from 2022-23. One is for English and six are for other departments.
• Late Shri Dule Ram Memorial Scholarship: INR 5000 for a student from SC/PwD categories studying B.A. (Honours) Hindi and securing the top position in the university examination.
• Late Smt Chatto Devi Memorial Scholarship: INR 5000 for a student from SC/PwD categories studying B.A. (Honours) Hindi and securing the top position in the university examination.
• Late Shri Bir Singh Memorial Scholarship: INR 5000 for a student from SC/PwD categories studying B.A. (Honours) Hindi and securing the top position in the university examination.
