The vision of Shree Narayan Medical Institute & Hospital is to impart high quality medical education and offer holistic health care services to the people of Bihar, primarily to unreached communities.The prime focus of the Institute (Shree Narayan Medical Institute & Hospital, Saharsa) is to develop patterns of teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate (in future) medical education in all the branches so as to demonstrate a high standard of medical education to all medical colleges in Bihar. The other important objectives of the Institute is to bring together in one place educational facilities of the highest order for the training of doctors and health care providers in all the important branches of health activities and to attain self sufficiency in postgraduate medical education in future.

The Medical College and associated Hospital has the capacity to provide efficient technical & non technical persons to render complete dedication to run the educational institutions successfully. Shree Narayan Medical Institute & Hospital, Saharsa, is solely dedicated to promote, establish, run and maintain educational institutions of excellence and health care services. It has started its journey way back in 2007. First application for 100 seat filed before the erstwhile MCI in the year 2010. It has been a decade long rigorous effort of the whole team which was finally rewarded and approved by National Medical Commission and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India for MBBS admission of 150 seats from academic session 2021-22. There is rapid development of the Institute along with the Hospital through constant improvement of infrastructure & education facilities and introduction of more and more medical professionals. Now, there are 150 intakes per year in the MBBS course and the hospital is having 600 beds with all modern treatment and diagnostic facilities. I am sure that the Medical College along with the Hospital will soon become a center of excellence to provide quality medical education as well as best health care facilities all over the region for public benefit. Shree Narayan Medical Institute & Hospital (SNMIH), Saharsa was started in 2010 by Shree Narayan Foundation, Saharsa, Bihar with the induction of the first batch for MBBS Course after receiving permission from the National Medical Commission (NMC) from 2021.
