Fees
Fees at Delhi University for the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering program are structured annually. The annual tuition fee is approximately Rs. 216,000 for the initial year and rises to Rs. 224,000 in subsequent years. An additional examination fee of around Rs. 4,610 per semester is applicable. Admission-related charges include a mandatory registration fee of Rs. 3,000 for OBC and general categories and Rs. 1,500 for SC/ST/PH categories.
There is no separate admission fee reported. A significant concession policy exists based on family income: a 90% fee waiver is offered for families earning below Rs. 4 lakh per annum, while a 50% concession is available for those with annual incomes between Rs. 4 lakh and Rs. 8 lakh. Additionally, laptop reimbursements of up to Rs. 50,000 are provided. The total fee for the duration of the course is approximately Rs.
8.96 lakh. Scholarships are available, particularly benefiting economically disadvantaged students and those belonging to SC/ST categories, further easing the financial commitment for eligible candidates.
