Fees
Fees at Indian Statistical Institute for the Bachelor of Statistics [B.Stat] {Hons.} program are structured to provide significant financial assistance based on merit and need. The tuition fee is INR 102,500 per semester, totaling INR 205,000 annually. Fee waivers are available: students with parental income between INR 1 lakh and INR 5 lakhs receive a 66.67% tuition fee waiver, while those with income below INR 1 lakh have their tuition fully waived.
Additionally, SC/ST and OBC students have their tuition fees completely waived. Apart from tuition, students pay INR 2,400 annually for hostel fees and approximately INR 15,000 per semester for mess fees. A refundable security deposit of INR 20,000 is required during the counseling process. Furthermore, all students receive a monthly stipend of INR 5,000, and merit-based or category-based scholarships are accessible.
