Ques. Is PGCPP from IGNOU recognised by the Indian Patent Office or CGPDTM?

Ans. The PGCPP is a UGC-recognised postgraduate certificate from a Central University. While it provides strong foundational knowledge for patent practice, to become a registered Patent Agent in India, you need to clear the Patent Agent Examination conducted by the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks (CGPDTM).
