JLU B.Com FAQs

Ques. Is B.Com at JLU Bhopal a 3-year or 4-year programme?

Ans. The B.Com programme at JLU Bhopal is a 4-year full-time undergraduate programme, in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 framework which mandates a 4-year undergraduate structure. This is different from the traditional 3-year B.Com offered by many affiliated colleges. The 4-year structure at JLU allows for a more comprehensive curriculum, additional electives, and a research/project component in the final year, making graduates more industry-ready and better prepared for postgraduate studies.

Ques. What is the total fee for B.Com at JLU and can it be paid in instalments?

Ans. The total programme fee for B.Com at JLU is Rs. 4,20,000 for the complete 4-year duration. This includes one-time charges of Rs. 40,000 (admission, caution money, alumni fund) and annual charges of Rs. 95,000 per year (resource fee, tuition, and exam fees). The fee can be paid in 2 instalments per year, i.e., semester-wise. However, the seat booking fee of Rs. 35,000 must be paid in full at the time of joining. Education loan assistance is available through the university's tie-ups with Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, and SBI Bank.

Ques. What is the intake for B.Com at JLU and how competitive is the admission?

Early application is recommended as seats fill up quickly.
