- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related branch with a minimum of 60 percent aggregate (55 percent for reserved categories); final-year candidates may apply provisionally.
- Valid TG PGECET 2026 score for government quota; GATE-qualified candidates may apply directly to MCET.
- Management quota applicants need a minimum 60 percent aggregate and apply directly to the college.
