About the Institution
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar College of Law was established in 1945 to meet the need for a law college in that part of the country.
It is one of the oldest law colleges in India. The college was renamed Andhra University, Dr. B.R.
Ambedkar College of Law with effect from May 10, 1991. The college offers bachelor's and master's degrees in LL.B, as well as Ph.D. courses. It has taken several initiatives to raise teaching and research standards to help students build their careers at the Bar.
