The Central Sector Scholarship is a government scheme available at NMIMS Mumbai. It helps high-performing students from low-income families.
To qualify, you need 80% or more in Class 12 and your family income must be INR 6 Lakh per year or less. The scholarship covers both UG and PG programs.
The amount and duration depend on your course level:
- For UG programs, you get INR 1,000 per month for up to 3 years.
- For PG or professional programs, you get INR 2,000 per month for up to 5 years.
You must maintain your academic performance to keep the scholarship. Since NMIMS fees are high, this scholarship usually covers only a part of the total cost, not the full expenses.
