NUSRL Ranchi has released the CLAT 2026 merit lists and admission dates. The first merit list was published in January 2027. The second merit list came out on January 22, 2026, with the admission confirmation fee payment window from January 22 to January 29, 2026.

The third merit list was released on February 05, 2026, with fee payment from February 05 to February 12, 2026. The fourth merit list was published on May 02, 2026, with fee payment from May 02 to May 08, 2026. The fifth and final merit list was released on May 15, 2026, with fee payment from May 15 to May 20, 2026. The university fee payment date was May 30, 2026.

For the next admission cycle, CLAT 2026 registration is scheduled from August to November 2026. The exam and result dates are in December 2026. Counselling registration and the first merit list are expected in December 2026 and January 2027 respectively.

The CLAT 2026 Round 1 cutoff ranks for the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme have been released. For the General category, the closing rank ranges between 4950 and 6274 under the Home State quota, and between 1297 and 1356 under the All India quota.

Constitutional Law was the most preferred specialisation in 2026, with the lowest closing rank of 4950 (Home State) and 1297 (All India). Other specialisations like Corporate Law, Intellectual Property Law, International Law, and Criminal Law recorded similar cutoff ranks in Round 1 counselling.
