Eligibility Criteria

• MD/MS/MDS/DM/MCh in the relevant subject recognized by NMC, or a Master’s degree in Science/M.Tech (Biotechnology)/MHA with a minimum 55% aggregate.
• MBBS graduates with a minimum 55% aggregate are eligible for departments where MBBS is the prescribed minimum qualification.
• Maximum age of 45 years as of 31 March of the examination year.

Admission Process

• Candidates with CSIR, UGC, ICMR, DBT, or DST JRF or NET fellowship apply online through the SGPGIMS portal and are called directly for a personal interview without a written test.
• Candidates working as JRF or SRF in a government-funded extramural project at SGPGIMS may enroll under Category 2 within one year of project commencement.
