About this Scholarship
The WeTech Goldman Sachs Global Scholarship and Mentorship Program 2018-19 is a collaborative initiative aimed at empowering female undergraduate students pursuing degrees in technology and engineering across India. The program combines financial scholarship support with a structured virtual mentorship, pairing young women with experienced professionals from Goldman Sachs.

Eligibility Criteria
- Gender & Nationality: Must be female and a citizen of India.
- Language Proficiency: Must be able to communicate in English.
- Academic Enrollment: Must be a current undergraduate student at a participating university in her second or third year of studies.
- Field of Study: Must be seeking a degree in engineering, computer science, or other ICT-related studies.
- Leadership Potential: Must be able to demonstrate leadership potential in her chosen engineering or ICT field (reference letters are required).
- Mentorship Commitment: Must be willing and available to participate in a virtual mentorship for a period of six months beginning from April to September 2019.
- Reference Letters: IIE will contact your referees via email and request them to complete and submit your reference letters by February 15, 2019.

- Candidate Preference: Preference will be given to candidates who:
- Have an excellent record of academic achievement (GPA).
- Demonstrate leadership ability through work experience, volunteer experience, community, and academic activities. Of interest are applicants who have:
- Contributed to coding clubs or associations on campus,
- Participated in campus-run coding competitions, or
- Participated in inter/intra-college technology festivals.
- Accomplished relevant projects and research, clearly outlined in a CV.
- Express an openness to a mentor.
