Successfully organized the "Innovation Expo for School Students – Trash to Treasure 2026

CBSA Landran Achieves Prestigious QS I-GAUGE Overall Platinum Rating

The Department of RISE through its RISOVATE Club, CGC Landran, successfully organized the Innovation Expo for School Students – Trash to Treasure 2026, providing a dynamic platform for young innovators to transform waste into valuable and sustainable solutions. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of Learning Paths School, Mohali; Saint Soldier School, Chunni Kalan; Infant Jesus Convent School, Mohali; Government Senior Secondary School (GSSS), Gigemajra, Mohali; and Lawrence Public Senior Secondary School, Mohali. Students of Classes VI–XII showcased their creativity and scientific thinking through projects on Best Out of Waste, Sustainable Product Showcase, Green Innovation Ideas, Eco-friendly Packaging Design, Circular Economy Business Models, and Recycling & Upcycling Solutions, reflecting their commitment towards environmental sustainability and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Winning teams were felicitated with cash prizes, trophies, and certificates, while all participants received certificates for their enthusiastic participation and remarkable efforts. We express our sincere gratitude to our esteemed Chief Guest, Er. Vijaykumar Wakchaure , Founder, VIT Engineering Pvt. Ltd., for inspiring the young innovators with his valuable insights and gracious presence. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Prof. (Dr.) Neha Sharma, Dean Research, for her visionary leadership and continuous encouragement in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship. We sincerely appreciate our esteemed evaluators Dr. Amanpreet Kaur (Head of Department, Information Technology), Dr. Supriya Agnihotri (Head of Department, CCP), Dr. Harvinder Singh (Head of Department, Applied Sciences), Dr. Rachin Goyal (Head of Department, Mechanical Engineering), and Dr Gurpreet Kaur (Head of Department, CCT) for their valuable evaluation and encouragement.
