Dr. PANKAJ TYAGI is a professor at Cluster Innovation Centre, the University of Delhi since 2015. He is a graduate of Hans Raj College and a postgraduate & Ph.D. from the Department of Physics & Astrophysics, University of Delhi. His teaching career started as Lecturer at Acharya Narendra Dev College, DU in 1995. In January 2012, he joined the Institute of Lifelong Learning (ILLL), DU as a Fellow in Physics and in July 2012 moved to Cluster Innovation Centre, DU as Associate Professor. His academic interests are Innovations at the Undergraduate level, Innovative Pedagogy, Physics, Electronics and Optical properties of thin films. He has published more than 22 research papers, participated in many national and international conferences, authored more than 20 books related to school physics curriculum and general science & has given many invited talks on innovative pedagogy. He has been Co-PI in a National level project on Gifted Children Education given by DST, Government of India during 2014-19. In 2015, he was awarded “Teaching Excellence Award for Innovation” by the University of Delhi for his Innovation Project Work. From 2012 to 2021, he also worked as Program Coordinator of Meta University Program M.Sc. (Mathematics Education) jointly offered by Jamia Millia Islamia and the University of Delhi.
