Overview
St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata is a Mentor College under the UGC scheme of Mentorship PARAMARSH. The college has signed MOUs with nine colleges under this scheme.
The mentorship work is currently in full swing. The college also attended National Seminars on the Revised Accreditation Framework of NAAC.

International Day of Yoga
The Department of Social Work, NSS and UBA, in collaboration with XADAM (Xaverian Academy of Dance and Music), observes International Day of Yoga. Yoga has been instrumental in maintaining and promoting both physical and mental well-being.
During the current period of uncertainty, it is imperative to fall back on this age-old practice. The practice helps keep the mind and body in synchronisation with one another.
Cleanliness Drive
Cleanliness sessions were held during the months of July, August and September in 2018, and January and March in 2019. Hourly sessions were conducted between 10 to 11 a.m. and 3:00 to 4:00 p.m.
A total of 367 volunteers cleaned the pavement outside the college front and back gates as well as within the campus. They also spread awareness about cleanliness.
Volunteers visited roadside eateries, shops and kiosks to speak to the owners about cleanliness and proper waste disposal.
