NLU Lucknow has announced the complete schedule for CLAT 2026 admissions. The exam will be held on December 7, 2025, and the results will be declared on December 16, 2025. Counselling registration opens the next day, on December 17, 2025, and closes on December 27, 2025.

The first merit list will be released on January 7, 2026, followed by the second merit list on January 22, 2026. The last date to pay the admission confirmation fee is February 12, 2026. The third, fourth, and fifth merit lists will be released on February 25, 2026, May 2, 2026, and May 20, 2026, respectively.

For CLAT PG 2026, the exam and result dates are the same as the UG exam. The counselling registration period is also from December 17 to December 27, 2025. The first and second merit lists for PG will be released on January 7 and January 22, 2026. The third merit list is on February 5, 2026, and the fee payment deadline is February 12, 2026. The fourth merit list is on May 2, 2026, with a fee deadline of May 8, 2026. The fifth and final merit list for PG will be released on May 15, 2026.

Admission is confirmed only after you accept the seat, pay the prescribed fees, and complete document verification at the university. Missing any deadline may lead to cancellation of the allotted seat. Fee payment deadlines are important because failure to pay on time is treated as a withdrawal, and the seat goes to the next eligible candidate.

Cutoffs are not fixed and may be revised after each counselling round. This happens because candidates accept, withdraw, or upgrade their seats. You should monitor official counselling notifications and updated merit lists regularly to make timely decisions.
