GD Goenka University has a well-organized Orientation program where students are introduced to their respective Schools, faculty members, coordinators, and the teaching and learning methodology being followed at the respective school level. The students are also introduced to the course plan, timetable, and credit requirements of each course by the concerned faculty of each department.

The orientation also includes an interactive session organized exclusively for parents, during which they interact with the leadership team of GD Goenka University.
