The summer internship of batch 2022-24 recorded 100% placement with the participation of 109 companies and among them 41 were new recruiters. The highest stipend stood at INR 3.50 lakhs, the average at INR 1.39 lakhs and the median at INR 1.50 lakhs for 2 months. The Sales & Marketing domain was the best-performing domain with the most offers.

Jobs and types of profiles are completely based on the specialization. As we look into the placement data of 2023, sales and marketing emerged as the most demanding specialization among students with approximately 98% of the students in this field being placed.
Over 80 companies participated, with the top recruiters including HDFC Bank, TATA Steel, IBM Bank, SAMSUNG, McKinsey & Company etc. The Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) sector offered the most placements, providing prestigious profiles like business associate, senior lead associate, senior executive, senior associate, assistant manager etc.
The IIM Raipur has 5 hostels, that offer separate areas of residence for males and females. The facilities included in the hostels are as follows:
- Well-furnished single rooms with attached washrooms.
- The rooms include a bed with mattress, fan, cupboard, study table and a side table.

It's difficult to say which one is better IIM Ranchi, IIM Trichy, and IIM Raipur for a fresher without work experience, as it depends on your personal preferences and career goals.
Here are some factors to consider when making your decision:
- Batch Profiles: Whenever you join a new place, especially an IIM, it takes time to keep up with the pace of the professors. You will need students who will guide you in the same. Both Trichy and Ranchi are excellent in this aspect having diverse student backgrounds.
- Faculty: Another great way to evaluate an institute is to research the internal and visiting faculty as information sharing is an indispensable part of IIM culture. IIM Ranchi is said to have the best faculty from the best B-schools like IIM B, C, L and I. IIM Ranchi also has industry experts who’ve worked there for over 30 years and reached a CXO designation across respected corporate conduct classes for its students. These classes are full-fledged 30 hour credit courses. Basically, IIM Ranchi exposes you to the brilliant minds of the country.
- Placements: Since you will end up with a big loan to pay off by the end, it’s very important to look up the placement reports of the concerned institutes. Usually, IIM Ranchi ranks the best in terms of placements.

All the 3 IIMs are equally good with diverse opportunities and cultures. So make a well-informed decision!
All the new IIMs are currently in a similar position with one giving an edge to another in some or the other way. So you can join any. But if I was to choose one of the two i.eIIM Rohtak and IIM Raipur, I would have chosen IIM Rohtak. Some points that favor my choice are
- The major reason why many choose Rohtak is because of the locational advantage it offers. Owing to regional industry coordination and NCR location it's better than other new IIMs
- Among the new IIMs, it is the oldest. So the batch size is bigger and so is the alumni network.
- Almost all the new IIMs function from a temporary campus and don’t have their own new campus. Meanwhile, IIM Rohtak is functioning from the MDU campus which is better than most campuses and has world-class facilities.
- The institute specializes in Marketing and is a good choice for Marketing enthusiasts. Many good firms offer marketing roles.
Most of the people who are in a dilemma of choosing between these two IIMs already have offers from these. If you ask the alumni of both institutes which one is better, in 99% of cases they will claim that their institute is better. So it’s better to do individual research and make a choice based on your own inclinations and prospects.

The median salary offered for the 2021-2023 batch was 1around eighteen lakhs per annum. I plan to enter the corporate world and join my main specialisation which is marketing team abd hence move further in my career
The courses had 6 trimesters in which every trimester exams were taken on time and professors were quite amazing and they took the paper on time and test. The course duration was on 20 month.
People from IIMs are very social. They know everyone and good connection with alumni too. In the campus there were lot if opportunities like case competitions and clubs and committee recruitment, sports.
200000 you can expect to spend for two year for your. room were clearned on everyday bases. Separate bathroom and single occupancy were the most important thing for me to consider before choosing any college. meal were very good all things.
