Fees at Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies for the Bachelor of Fisheries Science (BFSc) program include a semester-wise tuition fee which varies between Rs. 8,000 and Rs. 11,000. An initial admission fee of approximately Rs. 11,000 is required, with subsequent semester fees being around Rs. 9,000. An alternative payment structure allows for a reduced second-semester fee if a higher initial payment is made.

Hostel rent is set at Rs. 2,100, with an additional mess fee of Rs. 3,500. Various scholarships are available including the ICAR scholarship, E-Grantz, and merit scholarships, which can significantly alleviate tuition costs, particularly for reserved categories and economically disadvantaged students. Students from fisherman families and those with reservation benefits may be eligible for full fee waivers.
