Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology (MGIT), Hyderabad, is delighted to announce a significant research achievement by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).
A team of distinguished faculty members comprising Dr. S. P. Singh, Dr. S. Praveena, and Dr. Y. Praveen Kumar Reddy has been awarded a prestigious Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) sponsored research project by the Defence Electronics Research Laboratory (DLRL), Hyderabad.
The project focuses on developing advanced techniques for radar emitter location estimation using Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA) and Frequency Difference of Arrival (FDOA) from Satellite Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) Systems. The research is expected to contribute significantly to defence technologies, signal processing, and advanced surveillance systems.
This accomplishment reflects MGIT’s unwavering commitment to promoting high-quality research, innovation, and industry-relevant technological advancements. It also reinforces the institute’s strong research ecosystem and its continued collaboration with premier national defence research organizations.
