The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) was approved by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, in September 2015. Institutions are ranked on five broad parameters: Teaching, Learning & Resources (TLR); Research & Professional Practice (RP); Graduation Outcomes (GO); Outreach & Inclusivity (OI); and Perception (PR).

PCSGMCH is committed to transparency and submits its NIRF data annually as required by the NMC and Ministry of Education. Data must remain publicly available for a minimum of three years.

Data includes student strength (SS), faculty qualification (FQI), faculty-student ratio (FSR), total expenditure excluding salary (FRU), and expenditure on academic reimbursements (FER).

Parameters include total research publications (PU), quality of publications (QP), IPR and patents (IPR), footprint of projects and professional practice (FPPP).

PCSGMCH admitted its first MBBS batch in 2022–23. Graduation outcome data will be available after the first batch completes the 5½-year programme and internship.

Parameters include percentage of students from other states/UTs, percentage of women, economically and socially challenged students, and facilities for physically challenged students.

Perception score is calculated from peer and employer surveys conducted by NIRF. As a newly established institution, this data will develop over successive ranking cycles.
