I. For Nihil Ultra Scholarship, the student must have a minimum 95% marks in both Class X & Class XII board examinations. Marks will be calculated as per university admission guidelines, i.e. best of four (out of 400) in Class XII with English compulsory excluding vocational/elective subjects and best of five (out of 500) in Class X with English compulsory excluding vocational/elective subjects.
II. For Lafont Scholarship, the student must have a minimum 90% marks in both Class X & Class XII board examinations. Marks will be calculated as per university admission guidelines, i.e. best of four (out of 400) in Class XII with English compulsory excluding vocational/elective subjects and best of five (out of 500) in Class X with English compulsory excluding vocational/elective subjects.
III. For Best Athlete Scholarship (Boys & Girls), there is no need to apply separately. The best performer (one each from boys & girls) in the University Annual Sports Meet will be granted the Scholarship upon the recommendation by the Sports Committee.
IV. For Ignatius Scholarship, the student must have at least 40% or more of the following Disabilities as specified in the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016: Blindness, Low Vision, Leprosy – cured persons, Hearing Impairment (deaf & hard of hearing), Locomotor Disability, Dwarfism, Intellectual Disability, Mental Illness, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Chronic Neurological Conditions, Specific Learning Disabilities, Multiple Sclerosis, Speech and Language Disability, Thalassemia, Haemophilia, Sickle Cell Disease, Acid Attack Victim, Parkinson’s Disease, and Multiple Disabilities, and must possess a valid PwD Certificate issued by competent Govt. authority.
V. For Magis Scholarship, there is no need to apply separately. The student who fulfills the eligibility criteria and obtains the highest % of marks in the 1st Year (i.e. both 1st & 2nd Semesters) of their course will be granted the Scholarship at the end of the academic year upon the recommendation by the Scholarship Committee.
Besides the above-mentioned University Scholarship Schemes, the students at the University may also apply for the following Central & State Government Scholarships by applying through the given websites.
Students must go through the relevant notices before submitting application. Notices inviting applications are generally published in April-May, and October.
