International applicants seeking admission to UMBC must fulfill the following general academic requirements:
- Undergraduate Admissions: Official secondary school transcripts evaluated for US equivalency, showing strong academic performance in mathematics, sciences, and core subjects.
- Graduate Admissions: A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum cumulative GPA equivalent to 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
