The Induction Programme for the Batch of 2026–2028 was thoughtfully designed to acquaint incoming students with the values, culture, and ethos of Symbiosis School of Banking and Finance. Centered around the theme, “Digitalization of Financial Services: The Future Roadmap,” the programme sought to provide students with insights into the transformative impact of digitalization on the financial sector and the ways in which financial institutions are adapting to an increasingly technology-driven environment, particularly with the emergence of Artificial Intelligence.
The programme featured interactions and sessions with representatives from apex regulators and leading organizations within the Indian financial ecosystem, including PFRDA, Indian Clearing Corporation Limited, The Wealth Company, HDFC AMC, Tata Capital, and Deloitte India, among others. These sessions offered students valuable exposure to contemporary developments, industry practices, and emerging opportunities in the financial services sector. The impact of technology in finance was highlighted throughout the programme with speakers elaborating on its effect in pension, capital markets, AI, AML and compliance, risk management, cyber risk management, and quant investing to name a few.
Recognizing that professional success extends beyond academic excellence, the Induction Programme also emphasized the holistic development of students. It included sessions on Management Lessons from the Gita, soft skills, campus-to-corporate transition, professional etiquette, emotional wellness, body language, grooming, yoga, Zumba, and an outbound learning programme aimed at fostering personal growth and well-being.
Beyond introducing students to the world of finance, the programme served as an effective platform for building connections, encouraging teamwork, and fostering a spirit of friendship and camaraderie among the incoming batch. These experiences laid the foundation for a supportive learning environment and helped students develop interpersonal skills that will prove invaluable throughout their academic and professional journeys.
