Admission Dates for 2026
Key dates for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) admissions have been announced.
- BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) registration: April 30 to May 18, 2026.
- Round 1 seat allotment for these programs: June 2, 2026.
- Round 2 seat allotment: June 10, 2026.
CLAT UG 2026 Dates
Admission to the 5-year law programs is based on the CLAT UG exam. The schedule is:
- CLAT 2026 exam date: December 7, 2025.
- CLAT 2026 result date: December 16, 2025.
- Counselling registration: December 17 to December 27, 2025.
- 1st merit list: January 7, 2026.
- 2nd merit list: January 22, 2026.
- Last date for admission confirmation fee: February 12, 2026.
- 3rd merit list: February 25, 2026.
- 4th merit list: May 2, 2026.
- 5th merit list: May 20, 2026.
CSAS UG Counselling 2026 Dates
The Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for UG courses has these dates:
- CSAS registration: June 17 to July 14, 2026.
- UG preference filling: July 8 to July 14, 2026.
- 1st seat allotment: July 19, 2026.
- 2nd seat allotment: July 28, 2026 (tentative).
CUET PG 2026 Dates
For PG courses like LLM and the 3-year LLB, the CUET PG schedule is:
- CUET PG 2026 registration: December 14, 2025 to January 25, 2026.
- CUET PG 2026 exam date: March 6 to March 27, 2026.
- CUET PG 2026 admit card release: March 6 to March 10, 2026.
- CUET PG 2026 result date: April 24, 2026.
CSAS PG Counselling 2026 Dates
The counselling dates for PG courses are:
- CSAS PG registration (extended): May 16 to June 9, 2026.
- Round 1 seat allotment: June 15 to June 17, 2026.
- Round 1 application verification/approval: June 15 to June 18, 2026.
- Round 2 seat allotment: June 22 to June 24, 2026.
- Round 2 application verification/approval: June 22 to June 25, 2026.
Cutoff Information
The cutoff for 2026 has not been released yet. For reference, the 2025 cutoffs were:
- BA LLB (Hons) via CLAT: 88.50 (Round 1, General).
- BBA LLB (Hons) via CLAT: 87.00 (Round 1, General).
- 3-year LLB via CUET PG: 200-205 (tentative).
- LLM via CUET PG: 208.
