Career support services and employment opportunities at Ara Institute of Canterbury:
- Work-Integrated Learning: Ara integrates mandatory workplace internships, industry-led projects, apprenticeships, and clinical placements directly into degree and diploma curricula.
- Career Centre Services: Provides student support including resume writing workshops, interview coaching, employment seminars, and connection with local employers across the Canterbury region.
- Post-Study Work Visa (PSWV): Eligible international graduates completing a qualifying qualification (Level 7 Bachelor's degree or eligible Level 7 Graduate Diploma / Level 8 Postgraduate Diploma) can apply for a Post-Study Work Visa allowing 1 to 3 years of work rights in New Zealand.
