Fees at Delhi Technological University for the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering program progressively increase each year. Eligibility Criteria
- Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board with minimum 50% aggregate marks. OBC-NCL candidates need 45% and SC/ST/PwD candidates need 40% as per Delhi Govt norms.
- Must have passed Mathematics or Applied Mathematics in Class 12.
- Valid CUET (UG)-2026 score in the combination: Mathematics plus any two domain subjects plus one language or domain subject.
- Age limit: not more than 22 years as on 1 July 2026. 85% of seats are for NCT of Delhi Class 12 graduates.
Admission Process

- Register on the DTU admission portal (saarthi.dtu.ac.in) and submit the online application with CUET UG 2026 scores.
- Pay the non-refundable registration fee of INR 1,500 during online application.
- Attend the First Round Counselling at USME, DTU East Delhi Campus (Vivek Vihar Phase II) on 24 July 2026 with original documents.
- Pay the academic fee via demand draft payable to Registrar, DTU, and submit it at document verification to confirm enrolment.
